Episode I: First Strike

You are training as an elite soldier at the military academy Tel-Takir. You go by the callsign Sentinel. Soldiers are no longer so much cannon fodder, they are lethal weapons, especially these ones, part of the global peacekeeping force: The United Guns. You have almost graduated from the academy, and are looking forward to tomorrow, when you will be assigned a posting. You have a bad feeling about graduation night though, and you have been trained to trust your instincts. Something is up...

This is the second version of First Strike.

Pros:
Writing
military scenarios
details
game mechanics- this is truly a game

Cons:
couldn't you have scripted or itemized the story at least somewhat so I wouldn't have to keep track of every little variable myself?
combat maps are confusing
not long/epic enough

...Apparently I hadn't left a review before...
Well, it's a good excuse to replay this gem! The combat is really superb, and makes the combat more than just "Do this or die." A cool conflict, although there isn't a whole lot of backstory which would have been nice, and some great combat and writing. Excellent game, Rommy!
